Becoming a member

The BAEE distinguishes two types of memberships:

A. Individual membership

Everyone with an active interest in energy economics can become  a BAEE member.  As an individual member you have voting rights at the General Membership Meeting.

Individual membership can be obtained in two ways:
  1. By becoming an  IAEE member
Choose BAEE as your affiliate on the IAEE application form and pay your memberships fee (100 USD) to the IAEE. You will automatically be registered as BAEE member.
IAEE membership comes with  many benefits, such as a subscription to two  professionals journals: The Energy Journal and Economics of Energy and Environmental Policy.

  2. By becoming  a BAEE-only member
Fill in the BAEE application form  and pay your membership fee (85 EUR) directly to the BAEE.
As BAEE-only member, you will not receive the benefits of IAEE membership.

B. Institutional membership

Institutional membership is open to all organisations in the Benelux who want to actively encourage the debate on energy economics. Organizations may directly benefit  from BAEE events that are organized around topics of their interest.
Institutional members will be asked to contribute to the BAEE with financial or in-kind support.

For questions regarding institutional membership please contact the board using the online contact form.
