3rd BAEE Research Workshop on Energy Economics
Date: September 18, 2014
Venue: Erasmus School of Economics, Rotterdam The Benelux Association for Energy Economics (BAEE) is organizing its third Research Workshop on Energy Economics on Thursday 18 September 2014. This small-scale workshop offers Master and PhD-students and experienced researchers from the Benelux the opportunity to present a paper on energy economics and to interact with colleagues. The workshop covers all topics related to energy economics, from environmental policy and reliability of energy networks to regulation and competition issues. We will accept papers in economic theory, empirical work and economic policy, and are also open towards interdisciplinary work such as techno-economic energy models or legal-economic analysis of energy policy. We especially encourage Master and PhD-students to submit their work. A scientific committee will review the papers. Call for papers If you would like to present a paper, please upload your submission before 22 August 2014. Your proposal should include an extended abstract of maximum 300 words or a finished paper. The extended abstract should clearly indicate the research question, the research methodology and the contribution of the paper. We also accept recently published work for presentation at the workshop. Papers should be between 10 pages and 50 pages. Draft versions of a paper, a Master thesis or a chapter of a PhD-dissertation will also be welcomed. The members of the scientific committee are Ronald Huisman (Erasmus School of Economics), Machiel Mulder (ACM / University of Groningen), and Laurens de Vries (TU Delft). The program and the list of presenters will be confirmed by 1 September 2014. Presentations and full papers need to be submitted by 12 September 2014. We hope you will join us for an intellectually stimulating workshop on energy economics. For further questions you can contact the organization committee via [email protected]. Yours sincerely, the BAEE organization committee, Ronald Huisman, Machiel Mulder and Laurens de Vries |
