6th BAEE Research Workshop on Energy Economics
Date: November 10, 2017
Venue: KU Leuven The Benelux Association for Energy Economics (BAEE) will hold its sixth annual Research Workshop on Energy Economics on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the University of Leuven. It offers researchers from the Benelux the opportunity to present a paper on energy economics and to interact with colleagues. Papers do not need to be original (no proceedings will be published), but they do need to be current. Each paper presentation will be followed by one or two discussants who have reviewed the paper. The workshop covers all topics related to energy economics, from environmental policy and reliability of energy networks to regulation and competition issues. We accept papers in economic theory, empirical work and economic policy, and are also open towards interdisciplinary work such as techno-economic energy models or legal-economic analysis of energy policy. We especially encourage Master and PhD-students to submit their work. Submission of papers If you would like to present a paper, please register at our website before September 29, 2017. You may either submit an extended abstract or a full paper. The extended abstract should clearly indicate the research question, the research methodology and the contribution of the paper. We accept recently published as well as draft papers, Master theses and chapters of PhD dissertations. Full papers are due by October 27th. The scientific committee will be headed by Erik Delarue (KU Leuven) and Laurens de Vries (TU Delft). Agenda and practical information The agenda for the workshop has been finalised and can be found here. Practical information can be found here. For further questions you may contact the organization committee via [email protected]. Yours sincerely, the BAEE organization committee, Erik Delarue & Laurens de Vries |
